Body Language (BLP)

The system of BLP (body language psychology) is a technique for diagnosis on the psychological and physical levels. We communicate not only with our mouths but with our entire bodies. People are generally held responsible for the words they articulate from their mouths, but are not usually aware of the messages that their hands, feet, posture and facial expression transmit.

Reflexologist Eldad Nakkar of Shelem Institute has developed a method of BLP that uses ten major points of diagnosis and analysis. Students of the course acquire the tools necessary for identification of various routine and non-routine conditions that reflect stress, repression, readiness to help, balance, and more. The uniqueness of the system taught at Shelem is that it combines educational principles found in Torah with the technique of body language. Only at Shelem Institute can one study this topic in depth through authentic Jewish tools and with a scientific approach.

Among topics studied: the ten basic points; awareness of body language; the metaphysics of the various body parts; diagnosis of the limbs; positions; expressions; repression; self-awareness and esteem; exercises

Course duration: 10 sessions of 3 academic hours each
